The Scheherazade Foundation CIC
(Last updated 10 December 2025)
At The Scheherazade Foundation we are committed to providing a safe, respectful and inclusive environment for everyone connected with our work – including staff, volunteers, partners, and the communities we serve.
Although our current activities are low-risk and largely focused on cultural, literary and educational projects, we recognise our responsibility to prevent harm and to respond appropriately to any concerns about the safety or welfare of children, young people or adults at risk.
We maintain a safeguarding policy that sets out our principles, responsibilities and procedures in a way that is proportionate to our present scale. As the organisation grows, this framework will expand to reflect our evolving activities.
Jason Webster – Operations Manager
Jason is the first point of contact for any safeguarding concern. Serious concerns may be escalated to our CEO, and external advice will be sought when appropriate.
If you have a concern about the safety or welfare of anyone connected with our work, please contact Jason Webster in confidence at: jason@sf.charity
